Jos Nijhof, artistic director of theatrical company 'Al Dente' asked me to make the poster for Willem Elsschot's book-turned-play 'Villa des Roses'. Set in a boarding house in the early 20th century in Paris, the story is about the fortunes of a new maid and the guests and owners of the place. Typography by Quirijn Schuur (Kiwico).
